Hi there! My name is Jasmijn Bastings and I'm a photographer based in Amsterdam. I study photography at Fotoacademie.
My heart lies with authentic portraits that tell a story and capture a real moment in time between the person portrayed and the photographer. I also have a passion for projects that address social injustice. With my photography I hope to bring people closer together.
My main sources of inspiration are Richard Avedon, Vivian Maier, Gon Buurman, Robin de Puy, and Stephan Vanfleteren.
